A pressure washer only strips the surface - so the mould grows straight back, and the high pressure can wreck render, crack tiles and force water under cladding. A soft wash and treatment is the opposite: low pressure plus the right chemistry. We kill the organism, not just rinse the surface.

01Won't the chemicals kill my plants, hurt my pets, or get into my tank water?+
No. We pre-soak every garden bed so the plants drink water, not solution, neutralise any runoff, and physically disconnect your rain-water tank before we touch the roof. We do this on acreage and on council and university grounds - if it weren't safe around gardens and people, we wouldn't be allowed on those sites.
02Why pay you when I can hire a pressure washer for $60?+
Because high pressure is the problem, not the solution - it blasts the surface, can strip render and tile coating, and leaves the mould alive to regrow. We use low pressure and chemistry that kills it at the root. A $60 hire you repeat three or four times a year, plus your weekends, costs more than one job done to last.
03It'll just come back in a few months anyway, won't it?+
Only if all you do is wash it. A one-off clean removes the surface; we kill the mould at the root and can treat it so it can't regrow for around twelve months. Our prevention treatment is roughly 8 times the strength of retail Wet & Forget - that's the difference between three months and a year.
04Roof cleaning sounds expensive - should I just repaint or re-roof instead?+
Clean and treat first. The mould is usually the very thing damaging the roof - kill it and you often don't need the paint or the new roof at all. A clean and treatment is a fixed $1,850 incl GST; a repaint is several times that and a re-roof is five figures. We'll tell you straight if it genuinely can't be saved.
05How do I know you won't wreck my roof or my paint?+
Soft wash is low pressure plus the right chemistry - the opposite of blasting. We dose a milder mix on walls and adjust for roofs, and we clean two-storey homes from the ground so nobody's walking your tiles. If paint lifts during a soft wash it was already failing - the mould had eaten the bond underneath - and we'll tell you that before we start.
